 I am trying to read 100 books this year, for 0 self improvement purposes but perhaps the goal of rewarding myself for the incessant reading I do anyway and avoiding all of it being e.g. 40 minutes of Quora rabbit holes.

So far I'm on 39 and my to read pile is currently:

44. Under the Lion's Gaze, Maaza Mengiste
45. Half Blood Blues, Esi Edugyan
56. The Mirror Maker, Primo Levi
47. The Boundless Sea, David Abulafia
48. Milkman, Anna Burns
49. The House of the Wind, Titania Hardie

The organising principle is things I found in the library and things that I got from the Cats Protection charity bookshop. I am hoping to summon up the writing ability to compose reviews etc especially as I am soon to have access to a laptop but this is up in the air at present.

I've eyed "Daddy" at the library! I've also considered "Milkman" but felt like it might be heavier than I was in the mood for (although reviews are talking about humour?)
